9 Layer Coex Blown Film
Cadillac Products Packaging Company is proud to announce the addition of a Hosokawa Alpine nine layer blown film line. This state-of-the-art technology gives us the ability to engineer an extensive variety of films to meet the most demanding barrier, strength, and aesthetic requirements in the marketplace. One major advantage of a nine-layer blown film line is its ability to split film layers into several thin ones. This process improves barrier performance, as well as the ability for the film to be thermoformed. Another advantage of nine-layer film is its more uniform gauge than a five or seven-layer line. Sealant layers can be thinner, which increases the likelihood of down gauging and cost reduction. These thinner layers can also reduce film curling, a common problem with five- and seven-layer nylon films. If you’re looking for state-of-the-art films, let the experts at Cadillac Products Packing Company engineer a solution for your packaging needs. |
• Ability to engineer perfect strength and barrier requirements with a variety of resin combinations. • State-of-the-art laminating grade film. • Automatic gauge control limiting variations to +or- 5% on 2 mil film. • Computer controlled including recipe storage for precise formulations time after time. • Oscillating primary nip for dispersant of gauge variations over the entire film bubble. |
